Then join Shelter as Senior Fundraising Project Manager and you could soon be leading the delivery of our largest integrated fundraising campaign - our Christmas appeal.

Our Christmas campaign is a key income generator for Shelter. It’s our flagship integrated intiative which brings together many departments and touches almost everyone in the organisation and it’s continued to grow year on year. The campaign consists of a broad programme of public-facing activity, including an advertising campaign, direct marketing fundraising appeal, events, and corporate partner activation, all of which are amplified by press and social media. And, right now, we need someone like you to manage and deliver our 2019 campaign.
About the role
We have ambitious growth targets for the Christmas campaign over the next few years and need help to set us on the right trajectory to achieve them. As well as delivering the 2019 campaign, you’ll take the lead on mapping out milestones for the 2020 campaign to help us move to an 18 month planning cycle. A great opportunity to deliver something that’s greater than the sum of its parts, you’ll ensure the project’s fully integrated charity wide, harness the talents of the people in each team, identify new opportunities and work with colleagues to make things happen. Along the way, you’ll get involved with all aspects of Income Generation: Individual Giving, High Value Partnerships, Community & Events, Retail, Digital Fundraising and Data Management & Insight, as well as teams from across Shelter, including Marketing, Media, Creative, Digital, and Services.
Because this is a fixed-term contract, you’ll need to hit the ground running and find ways of getting up to speed as quickly as possible. An accomplished project manager with experience of co-ordinating multiple workstreams, you have excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude and are confident managing a wide range of stakeholders. You know how to monitor and evaluate performance too, and are adept at using knowledge gained to bring significant improvements. Crucially, you have great time management skills and an innate ability to maintain attention to detail and get things done, even when working across a diverse range of tasks simultaneously.
