If playing a crucial role producing trend analysis, forecasting and reporting within an award-winning fundraising team sounds like a role you’d relish, here’s your opportunity. We’ll provide the infrastructure, the strategy and the rewards, including flexible working. All you need to bring is a logical approach to work, exceptional skills in data interpretation, manipulation and presentation, and a good understanding of the principles of database management and marketing.
This is an incredibly exciting time for Shelter, as the entire organisation is rallying behind our ambitious strategy to end the housing emergency. Throughout 2020 the Data Management & Insight team will be implementing a technology change programme and during this time it will be all hands on deck within the Data Management & Insight team. The Senior Insight Analyst’s will be expected to pick up some work maintaining existing dashboards in our old technical infrastructure, helping out other parts of the team with business critical work for example data selections for outbound communication and also feeding into the design and implementation of the new reporting and data warehousing environment. Our team gives Shelter a greater understanding of project and activity performance in the short, medium and long term. And, we want you on our team.
As a Senior Insight Analyst your output will be essential in enabling insight driven decision-making within our Income Generation teams. You’ll also collaborate with an Insight Manager to create a dynamic and innovative Insight team. Day-to-day, you’ll work on a range of platforms to design and deliver a suite of reporting and analysis that meet client need whilst also highlighting areas for growth and increased investment opportunities. We’ll also rely on you to present insight back to teams across the department in a range of formats including Microsoft Power BI Dashboards, written reports and Microsoft Power Point Presentations. And, when it comes to managing and administering our reporting databases or maintaining, creating and updating SQL stored procedures, again, we’ll count on you.
Key to your success will be the ability to build, implement and continually improve predictive models across a range of fundraising activity using coding language such as R or Python. You’ll also need to know how to use advanced models to predict supporter retention rates, lifetime value and forecast income. Proficient using digital reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Campaign to provide reporting and insight on web traffic, online donations, conversions and social presence, you also know how to blend this with financial and supporter data stored within an Azure Data Warehouse environment. What’s more, you have highly developed influencing and communication skills and are adept at presenting complex information in a user friendly way.
The wide range of benefits we offer include 30 days of annual leave, enhanced family friendly policies, pension and interest free travel loans. Our employees also have access to a tenancy deposit loan, cycle to work scheme and an employee assistance programme.
