Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for an NTD Programmes, Monitoring and Support Officer to be responsible for supporting the effective planning, monitoring and reporting of The Trust and DFID SAFE Trachoma Initiatives.
We are looking for a Monitoring and Support Officer who will support the alignment of Monitoring and Support systems across both programmes, national NTD initiatives and emerging mHealth systems. Working with the Project Directors, you will be supporting the implementation and ongoing development of monitoring, evaluation and learning processes. You will analyse and compile project monitoring information both to inform preferred practice and for the purpose of producing reports and other documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a significant project cycle management experience ideally in the development sector as well as a demonstrated record of monitoring projects covering multiple countries and working with a variety of partners. Candidates with experience in Trachoma programming, WASH and/or the public health sector would be of particular interest however not essential. This position may require up to 30% of time spent travelling outside of the UK
