Job Title: Policy and Performance Manager

Location: Home based/flexible

Whilst we have core hours of work, we are flexible regarding working patters and hours of work for the successful person

Salary: £35,000 per year (FTE)

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

As part of the newly created Governance, Planning and Evidence team, this role will provide development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures across the whole of the organisation, in BSL as well as English.

You will be the primary point of contact for any questions or queries relating to our internal policies and procedures as well as working with the Assistant Director to write all of SignHealth's internal policies, ensure they are accessible to all staff by managing the translation process into BSL and ensuring that all policies are up to date, taking into account of changes in legislation, government and regulator guidance. Examples include our Safeguarding Policy, Child Protection Policy, Health and Safety Policy, as well as a whole range of operational policies relating to our social care, domestic abuse and therapies services.

Other duties include arranging filming for policies and procedures, managing the approval processes through the organisations Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and/or Board, carrying out horizon scanning to assess the impact of the changes to any policy/procedure and identifying effective practices through data analysis and performance audits.

You will have excellent IT skills including all Microsoft products, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change, a clear understanding of confidentiality, be a good team player with excellent writing and organisational skills as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Previous experience within a similar role or a project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile) are desirable but not essential.
