Do you believe everyone should have a place to call home and the chance to lead a fulfilling life?
SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced workers to join our Generic Team which is part of our Multidisciplinary Floating Support Service in Islington.

You will also be responsible for producing comprehensive and high quality risk assessment and risk management plans on an on-going basis.
The Generic Team provides a dynamic and empowering service to vulnerable adults who have housing related support needs. The aim of the service is to provide timely and responsive interventions that address housing issues, prevent tenancy breakdown, improve quality of life and promote independence.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable people with high levels of needs and risk and an understanding of the range of appropriate approaches to working with mental and physical ill heath, drug and/or alcohol use and/or other social issues. You will have experience of supporting people to carry out tasks which will enable people to live independently and sustain their tenancy. You will also be able to effectively liaise with a range of service providers and agencies; in order to establish or improve services for our clients.
