SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
The Islington Complex Needs Team is part of the Islington Multidisciplinary Floating support service. The aim of the service is to support clients to maintain their tenancies and link into relevant services including mental health and drug and alcohol treatment services so that they can managed their emotional well-being, substance use and maximise opportunities to lead fulfilling lives.
As the Team Manager you will be responsible for providing day to day strong and effective leadership of the complex needs team, ensuring that they maintain high quality standards of work practice and provide holistic support for people with complex needs. You will also ensure that all other aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standard and are fully compliant with both our organisational values and contractual requirements.
To succeed, you will have proven staff management experience and the ability to support and develop others in delivering effective service outcomes. You will also have a successful track record of delivering high quality outcomes for clients along with experience and the ability to plan, monitor and evaluate services to ensure that they are responsive. Strong communication and networking skills with a proven ability in building positive working relationships, is also required.
