Job description

Team Manager - Floating Support Service

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. Our vision is of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.

We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change. From supporting people in crisis to helping people take the final steps towards independence and employment, we make a difference to 10,000 lives every year across all 32 boroughs.

As the Team Manager, you will lead, develop, and empower a team of 4 Lead Support Workers. The Team will consist of a MAPPA Lead Role worker, a Senior Justice Link Worker and two Lead Private Rented Sector (PRS) Workers.

Your role will focus on supporting the team to provide holistic, intensive support for clients with a history of offending. You will also ensure that all aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standard and are fully compliant with both our organisational values and contractual requirements.

The PRS workers will focus on supporting clients who have left prison within the last 12 months, to access appropriate PRS accommodation, working alongside a PRS procurement officer based at Islington council.  Overall, the team will provide end to end coordinated support for each client from first contact, supporting them to achieve a more independent, settled and fulfilled lifestyle.

The Team Manager role will include co-location work at the Islington Probation Service.

Closing date:  7th November 2021 (at Midnight)

Interviews will be held on: 17th November 2021

This post will require an Enhanced DBS check to be processed for the successful applicant

Our attractive benefits package includes:
