Communications and Social Media Volunteer for Snow Sports charity

The Snow Sports Foundation is a small charity based in Hemel Hempstead that exists to help additional needs and disability students develop their life skills via snow sports.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to become our very first Communications Volunteer and support the management team and volunteer team with a range of communication tasks, including, social media, public affairs and online / offline external communications.
With your help, we will continue to provide compelling and high impact communications that demonstrate the importance of our work and the need for more support to advance the charity’s mission.
Monitoring the news agenda and help the team create media materials through social media content.
Help the team maintain a suite of internal and external communication resources including; briefing sheets, speaking notes, factsheets, toolkits and templates.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good computer skills and a willingness to be contacted via email and WhatsApp and Zoom.
Good organisational skills and time management.
Willingness to adhere to all relevant organisational policies and procedures.
