We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with experience in administration within the social care field to work with us as a Family Finding Worker. This role is home-based, and it will cover placements for our Yorkshire & North-East areas.
The Family Finding Worker is responsible for receiving placement requests for children who need to be looked after and matching them to our foster carer in cooperation with the Duty Social Worker. The role requires exceptional communication skills and discretion, sensitivity and the capability to deal with conflicting priorities at times.

Overall Duties of the role will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
- Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
- Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements
- Being able to transport children and young people to events, appointments and meetings (mileage reimbursed)

The Role

As the number of sisters able to continue the work with women declines, the Congregation wishes to set up a grant making project to facilitate other charities working with women in distress to do the work we can no longer do ourselves.
We are seeking a Grants Administrator (not a fundraiser) who will set up and run the project for us.
You must have a compassion for women and girls on the margins of society. Our motto is “One person is worth more than a world”. There is no distinction between creed, colour, or sexual orientation. AFSG Coordinator Role Description
The Academic Forum for the Study of Gambling (AFSG) is seeking a Coordinator to support organisational sustainability, membership, and outreach activities. This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension. The salary available ranges between £30,000 and £40,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and time commitment. - Developing and enacting a sustainability plan to establish the AFSG as an independent formal, registered charity, not-for-profit, or similar appropriate entity. This could include, but is not limited to the following activities:

Qualifications
Essential qualifications.
The AFSG Coordinator must have:
- experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- mental health and wellbeing; academic research/support; professional societies or the charity sector; bid development and partnership engagement;
- excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to network and build meaningful relationships;

- experience using basic tools to build and manage websites;

Learning and historical materials from the project will also inform a digital timeline (web design/development will be externally commissioned) hosted on our website.

The Assessing Social Worker will be responsible for ensuring the success of TACT's projects and change initiatives.
