Safe Evolve, Early Intervention service is a new service commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing and represent an exciting partnership with the Anna Freud. The service offers brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address mild to moderate wellbeing needs largely using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed and mentalization approaches. It consists of two teams: one a specialist schools outreach service and the second a community well-being team for children and families.
The Deputy Head of Service post will support the expansion and delivery of SAFE Evolve including direct interventions, consultation and training to professionals, as well as making sure that the clinicians operate at all times from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects the diversity of Ealing and ensures all work is sensitive to the needs of a range of ethnic, cultural and religious groups, is gender sensitive, anti-discriminatory and values diversity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our thriving Clinical Help offers in the Schools Division. Successful candidates will demonstrate extensive experience of clinical supervision, implementing interventions with children and young people in schools and confident communication skills to effectively liaise with external agencies and represent the Ealing Early Intervention Service at a high standard.

Unlocked Graduates exists to break cycles of reoffending, with particular focus on breaking the link between disadvantage and reoffending. Currently prison is not a place which successfully does this: the average prisoner has 16 previous convictions and 48 percent of prisoners reoffend within a year of release. Look Ahead currently manages approx. 1,500 units on behalf of other landlords. The organisation typically enters into housing management agreements and other deliver vehicles [e.g. leases], as part of a wider contract to deliver care and support service to Local Authority and Health commissioners.
Housing management agreements and leases place responsibilities on both the landlord and management agent to provide services to tenants and licences and ensure compliance across all associated legislation (landlord & tenant, statutory landlord compliance and health and safety). To ensure compliance, agreements set distinct responsibilities for setting and collecting rent and service charges and the arrangement for maintaining properties to agreed standards.
The Agency Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Look Ahead operates efficiently and achieves full compliance in relation to our housing management agreements, leases and office licences. The post holder will also act as the main point of liaison for the different landlords (both social landlords and private rented sector) and also act as the main interface between the Landlord Services and New Business Teams in ensuring that new services coming over with housing management obligations are properly established and integrated into the service.
The Agency Partnerships Manager will monitor the financial performance of housing management agreements and will take a lead role in negotiating appropriate allowances with Landlords and ensuring the full costs of delivery, including dilapidations and handback arrangements are understood and factored into business planning/financial modelling.
Furthermore, the Agency Partnerships Manager will have a key role in ensuring that operational service understand their responsibilities and will ensure a structured approach to quality monitoring and that Look Ahead/ Landlords are fulfilling their obligations.
The right candidate for this role will have the ability to travel.

Our team in Stoke in Trent are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. CDAS (Stoke on Trent Community Drug and Alcohol Service) is a new, all age service supporting individuals, their families and communities. Our busy team currently helps around 1500 people at any one time and we want to help even more by transforming our service to deliver from multiple venues and make more effective use of the resources we have.
You will lead on and be responsible for the provision of clinical care in our service, ensuring that our standards of care allow clients to achieve their recovery goals. A dynamic leader, you will guide and support clinical staff working within the service, working hand in hand with the service manager to foster a continuous improvement mindset and ensuring that evidence based best clinical practice is delivered in line with national, organisational and local standards.Working in co-production with operational managers, you will lead the continuous development and governance of high quality, effective and safe services within the budget and the contract. You will also lead on building service accessibility and trauma informed care by delivery of culturally sensitive, safe clinical services that people trust and want to use.
It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners for the continuity of service, as well as leading on delivering opioid substitution and detoxification treatment, alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention treatment and other clinical interventions.
This is a full time and permanent post. Working hours will cover Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, late shifts from 12.00pm to 8.00pm and some Saturdays.
You will be a compassionate and motivated registered nurse or pharmacist who holds a prescribing qualification, with the ability to connect quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity. We’re looking for substantial experience working within the substance misuse arena, as well as experience working in a supervisory role within a multidisciplinary team. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and staff.
