We are looking for a part time experienced Trusts fundraiser, to focus on larger trusts and foundations to join a growing fundraising team for an incredible LGBTQ+ organisation. This role is for 21.36 hrs p/w (3 days), and looking for one day a week in the London office.

You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

The Role
You will join a growing team of three to maximise income by researching, developing new relationships with trusts, foundations and other funders.
Youll be delivering compelling and impactful applications, and providing a high standard of stewardship to existing funders focussing on bids of c10k+.
You will be building on the existing relationships that have been established as well as cultivating new leads that will increase income from these sources, resulting in a more sustainable mix of income.

The Candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can build on their own area of fundraising practice and actively contribute to the fundraising team ambition of growing and diversifying income.
Demonstrable experience of raising multiple five, ideally six figure, grants from mutliple funders.
Experience in securing multi-year gifts from Trust and Foundations
Experience in creating bespoke reports, updates and fundraising copy.
Applicants with lived experience of LGBTQ+ or from marginalised communities actively encouraged, howveer not essential.

Harris Hill are pleased to be working with an influential benevolent fund to recruit an Individual Giving Fundraiser. This newly created role will oversee developing, marketing and managing an individual giving programme that will include one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be a key member of the fundraising team with the task of producing compelling fundraising communications and stewarding individual donors. A main focus of the role will be positioning the charity attractively to potential new donors and then taking them on an engagement journey to result in regular gifts. You will do this with the support of a newly appointed fundraising agency.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior experience of working in fundraising and an understanding of good stewardship practices, with a  particular understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.

In 2021-22 Safe and Sound Homes (SASH) helped a total of 210 young people avoid homelessness and arranged 13,029 nights of accommodation. SASH isn’t just about the stats though, it’s about changing the lives of these young people and the charity’s aim is to make a lasting difference to each individual, so they will never have to experience homelessness again.

The Role

As Trust Fundraiser you will play an integral part in the collaborative fundraising team and be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Managing the existing portfolio of Trusts and Foundations and for stewarding these relationships.

• Identifying and building relationships with new prospects who have the capacity to support at five/six figure level.

• Developing and managing the delivery of an annual pipeline for the trusts fundraising programme, and contributing to the     fundraising strategy in this area.

• Effectively reporting on grant expenditure and project outcomes.

The Person 

To be considered for this role you should come to us with knowledge and experience of trust fundraising and ideally have a proven track record in securing funding. You should be a strong and confident communicator able to form relationships and maintain relationships with partners and supporters. You must be passionate about the work of this incredible charity and be committed to SASH’s values and the behaviours that underpin these. We would be keen to speak with people already working in Trust Fundraising, as well as people who have a good knowledge and understanding of this area, and are keen to embark on an exciting and rewarding career.

Fundraising and Engagement Manager
Salary: £32,500 per annum

The Foxton Centre has been providing support to people on the margins of Preston, including those who experience poverty, addiction, and mental health issues. Among the long list of services and support they offer the Foxton runs a homeless day centre, assertive outreach, a kid's club, rough sleepers' initiative, and housing first programme. Charity People are partnering with this fantastic charity to find a new Fundraising and Engagement Manager who'll support the delivery and implementation of their fundraising strategy.

About the Role

The Fundraising and Engagement Manager is a brand-new role which will lead in developing and delivering the fundraising strategy in line with the Foxton Centres' Business Plan. Working alongside the senior leadership team and service managers you'll support researching and compiling funding applications to trusts, foundations and public sources as well as building relationships with businesses and individuals who want to support the vital work the Foxton Centre carries out.

About You

This role would suit a natural relationship builder with a fundraising track record across any of the following income streams; trusts, grant making bodies, corporate or individual giving. You'll be well supported in this role by a brilliant board of trustees as well as the senior leadership team who have been responsible for managing income generation.

As this role would be supported by Senior leadership, this role is flexible in terms of level of experience. It would be a great opportunity for both an experienced Manager wanting to take ownership of a strategy, and for a Trust and Foundations fundraiser looking to take their next step and develop their strategic skills.

The Trusts & Foundations Manager role will be part of the Business & Industry team (11 people), who have responsibility for all funding and industry relationships across Engineering UK. The team works strategically with stakeholders across the engineering, technology and education sectors, to support their mission. This role would suit someone who enjoys relationship building, with demonstrated experience in account management.

This is a permanent role with a salary of £42k - £47,5k and will require hybrid working from their offices in London twice a week.
