The Charity
The Youth Adventure Trust is a youth development charity working with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 16 years old from Wiltshire and Swindon. Our outdoor activity based YAT Adventure Programme enables young people to challenge themselves, experience success, learn to go beyond their own expectations and grow in confidence. Through a series of residential camps and day activities they are able to build resilience, self esteem and develop social and life skills. The YAT Resilience Programme works to the same outcomes through a year long programme of monthly activities, home-based challenges and reflective practice. Our Mentoring Programme works with those young people in need of some additional individualised support at the end of our other programmes. The Trust’s Bursary Programme is open to all those young people who have completed an initial programme, in order to assist their next steps into further activities. Our aim is to make a lasting improvement to the lives of vulnerable young people. All our services are provided completely free of charge to the young people who are nominated by schools and other youth organisations to take part.
The Role

-
Working with the Programme Managers to support young people moving on to the Mentoring Programme, and promoting take up of the Bursary Programme.
-
Supporting the development of further opportunities for young people both during and after their YAT journey.
-
Assisting the day-to-day administration and management of the programme. This may include maintaining a database, producing written communications and reports, information leaflets, website updates, budget monitoring, booking and negotiating with providers, and an array of detailed record keeping.
-
Creating website and social media content to highlight and promote YAT’s work.

Restore Hope exists to see hope restored and lives and communities transformed.
We are a Christian charity working to bring hope to people across our local community. We work with people of all faiths and none, showing them love; walking alongside them on their journey; advocating for them when they aren’t able; and helping them develop skills and confidence to take their next steps for a more positive future.
This is a particularly exciting time for Restore Hope. Since 2002 we have been based on 360 acres of stunning countryside at Latimer Park, on the River Chess set within the Chilterns AONB; but we are now in a time of rapid growth. In 2025 we will be opening a second site - Restore Hope Amersham, a new Community Hub on Woodside Road, 3 miles from our current home.
We are looking forward to continuing the work we’ve become known for over the past two decades whilst also developing new partnership working with other organisations to deliver excellent support. Both of our sites will be buzzing with activity, where people will interact, share experiences and encourage one another.
Restore Hope has grown significantly in recent years, in terms of breadth of services provided and depth of connection to those we are serving. Therefore, we are now seeking to expand our core team and appoint a talented person into the new role of Fundraising Manager.
This role is integral in supporting the charity’s ambitious income targets. In this role you will support the Development Director and make a vital contribution to our primary objective to bring about transformative change for children, young people and families by unlocking income and raising the profile of Restore Hope.
Working with the Development Director, this role will implement the fundraising plan, seeking funding from trusts and foundations, corporate and individual donors, partnership contracts and events. This is a new role and as such, an opportunity to step in and make the role your own.

Programme Overview 2024 - 2025
Over the next year, we will work alongside local people from the identified communities to build on their strengths and take action for improved health and wellbeing. We will achieve this by supporting local people to establish a monthly community network to:

Through this network, we will share information about local services, groups, and activities, and offer training and support for local people to upskill and take the lead with confidence.
We will also lead the development of a Loxford neighbourhood forum where residents, community groups, voluntary sector, health (e.g., GP practices), education and social care services can come together to make connections, work together on what matters to local people, and address health and wellbeing needs in the area.
Finally, we have been re-commissioned by the Public Health department of Redbridge Council to continue delivering our TB Awareness project, raising awareness amongst communities who are at high risk of TB.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of projects within the Healthy Communities Programme, which includes overseeing the team and providing support for community action initiatives.

Live out your Christian faith in a fun job, surrounded by excellent kind volunteers and straight talking adults with learning disabilities in a beautiful farm setting near Winchester. If you love cooking, people and thinking on your feet, then this is the management job for you. Boaz is a small independent charity that over 100 people a week call their "workplace". Four days a week around 30 people come to the farm to "work and learn together" doing a whole range of horticulture and other jobs such as cooking, craft, animal care and woodwork. The role is based on-site, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
You get 20 days holiday a year plus Public Holidays to start with, plus additional days for long service.
Pay will be in the range of £28 to £30,000 p/a depending on experience.
