The Society for Experimental Biology is an international membership organisation for those studying, practicing or with an interest in all areas of Experimental Biology. It aims to promote and increase the influence of Experimental Biology and foster cross disciplinary connections within the scientific community. The Society encompasses Animal, Plant, Cell Biology and Education and the events programme serves the needs of all four sectors.
The Membership and Marketing Manager will help to develop and deliver the membership and marketing activities for the Society to ensure the delivery of the Society’s strategic objectives relating to membership, grants and marketing. You will be expected to work independently and flexibly, organise your own time effectively and network with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will track and analyse the success of membership initiatives in increasing membership numbers and continually develop and improve processes and systems.
A key skill of this role will be to engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
