Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.

You will be joining a team of committed and inspiring individuals whose dedication has saved the lives of thousands of women, men and children in the capital.  We are looking for friendly and diligent individuals to join our senior management team and help us make a difference.  We are an Investors in People Employer, committed to attracting, retaining and developing excellent people.

About the Service
You will be working with a diverse team of dedicated Managers, within our community and accommodation services, working closely with staff teams and the senior managers across the organisation.  We are responsive to the needs of our service users and continuously seeking ways to improve our services.

About the Role
The Head of Community and Accommodation Services has overall management responsibility for the allocated services, which comprise of independent domestic abuse advocates (IDVA’s), IRIS, Caseworkers, Specialist Mental Health Advocates, overseeing our perpetrator programme and Refuge Accommodation.  You will need to have a solid background in safeguarding, health and safety in relation to supported accommodation and a thorough understanding of trauma informed practices, as well as being a strong leader who can manage a variety of complex services and budgets.  A key function of the role is to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally with our VAWG partners and commissioners.

About You
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow our community and accommodation services, and equip our teams to work effectively within an ever changing environment. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build dynamic and effective working relationships with managers and staff.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be flexible and have an appetite to learn new skills in a fast-growing charity.
