Family Fundraising Assistant

Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Family Fundraising Assistant to join our team at Solving Kids’ Cancer, based in Central London.

Solving Kids’ Cancer fights for a future where no child dies of neuroblastoma or suffers due to its treatment. Neuroblastoma is an aggressive childhood cancer that affects around 100 children a year in the UK. It has high relapse rates and a poor prognosis if the cancer does return.

Survival rates for high-risk neuroblastoma have remained at or below 40%. We have a lot of work to do and you could make a huge impact!

This role will focus on supporting families who hold fundraising campaigns with Solving Kids’ Cancer. Many families raise funds in case one day their child needs to access treatment not yet available on the NHS, either to try and get their child into remission or to try and stop the cancer from coming back.

You’ll be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with families and act as the main point of contact for family fundraising queries.

This role requires experience of working in a fundraising environment, along with demonstrable experience of hitting income targets and building supporter relationships. You’ll have exceptional relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and be highly organised.

We’re a busy but energetic team, and in return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we commit to actively developing and supporting you.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with friendly colleagues where there is the opportunity to learn and take initiative.

Deadline for applications Friday 10th May at 13:00pm.
