As the Sophie Hayes Foundation continues an exciting phase of growth and development, supporting more women survivors of Human Trafficking, the role will be a valued member of the organisation’s Birmingham & West Midlands Team. The right candidate will focus on delivering both our Employability Programmes modules: Workshops and Coaching across Birmingham and the West Midlands, through effective and productive collaborations.

Detailed Role Description
- Create, manage, and deliver both the workshops and coaching modules across the West Midlands in F2F and remote environments.
- Recruit survivors into the Employability Programme.
- Deliver Modules 1 & 2 using the Employability Programme content across group and 121 environments.
- Provide ongoing 121 survivor support whilst delivering the programme.
- Engage all survivors into The CREW our survivor led network, before during and after programme completion.
- Ensure our survivors, partners and volunteers are engaged, motivated and ‘have a voice’ to influence and shape our programme design.
- Engage with local, regional, and national networks i.e., West Midlands Anti-Slavery Network, Human Trafficking Foundation.
- Develop and grow partnerships with diverse stakeholders to support growing needs in both the remote and F2F delivery.

- Work with the Employability Programme Placements Supervisor to build robust relationships in the local and regional communities, in order to secure and support survivor placements.
- Supervise and manage Employability Programme volunteers, with the objective of growing individual and group capabilities, skills, and resources.
Budgets & Reporting
- Effectively and efficiently manage local programme.
- KPI’s, ensuring correct reporting of programme outputs and outcomes.
- Development through insights and evaluations, learning and feedback.
- Consistently work with and encourage the growth of leadership volunteers to increase organisation capacity and capabilities.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of successful programme delivery in the UK charity sector
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or the ability to demonstrate competence through experience.
- Demonstrable direct experience of skilled facilitation for group as well as 121 support sessions/coaching.
- Experience of proactively researching and engaging current and prospective partners.
- Tangible knowledge of best practice in facilitation, coaching and programme delivery.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to tailor written and verbal content and style to a range of audiences.
- Experience of working to, and meeting KPI’s.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver outcomes to tight deadlines.
- Required IT skills Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. (Blackbaud E Tapestry or similar CRM systems etc)
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as a key member of a team.
- Flexible and proactive approach and attitude
- Enthusiasm and drive to make things happen.
- Ability to work occasionally outside of normal office working hours.
- Supportive of a small but fast paced team.

- Knowledge and understanding of the human trafficking and modern-day slavery sector.
