We’re expanding our team and looking for both full time and part time Care Assistant to join us at Mais House.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents, many of whom have served in the Armed Forces. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, supporting residents with their daily routines, and ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. You will help with mobility, nutrition, and medication as required, and will work closely with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming environment. Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals will also be an essential part of your role.

Principle purposes of the job:

 

To deliver group support services including:

· provision of child focussed play/educational activities to support development

· parental guidance to support child development

· supervision of Play Leader and support for Volunteers

· to work alongside the scheme Manager in the planning and delivery of group support

Main responsibilities:

 

· To work within Home-Start’s standards and methods of practice including Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding and Promoting the Welfare of Children, Confidentiality and all mandatory policies.

· Work in close co-operation with the Play worker, Volunteers and other scheme staff as directed by the scheme Manager.

· Work in partnership with other family support agencies, as appropriate

· To make initial contact with families to assess their needs

· Review family’s needs on a regular basis and at the end of support.

· To maintain contact with individual referrers during a family’s support

· To welcome all parents/carers to the Family Group, recognising the importance of their role as the prime educators of their children

· To be aware of group dynamics ensuring the groups provide a non-judgemental environment for children and their parent/carer

· To provide a safe, stimulating environment for children and their parents

· To be vigilant about the upkeep of equipment ensuring good standards of safety and hygiene are followed.

· To closely work alongside the Play Worker planning activities for the children

· To make observations, record and report on children’s development

· To encourage the active participation of parents/carers in their child’s play and other activities as appropriate

· To provide opportunities for external agencies to offer advice/information to families

· To promote the use of suitable toys, books and activities and encourage the use of local resources e.g. Toy Library, Library and Children & Family Centres

· To complete a Risk Assessment prior to each session/outing

· To keep a register at each session detailing names of all those attending, including visitors/speakers with an evaluation of each speaker

· To record any accidents/incidents in the Accident or Incident Book and report as appropriate

· To respond, record and report appropriately all Safeguarding Children/Child Protection issues

· To liaise with the Manager regarding budgets

· To promote the work of Home-Start with referrers

· To be willing to undertake training as appropriate, including safeguarding/child protection.

· To attend regular supervision sessions

· To regularly attend staff Meetings

Purpose of the role 

We are seeking a project coordinator to contribute research, project management and stakeholder management skills to support key projects advancing the consumer voice in the sustainability transition. This is a critical role in our team, and it comes with significant development opportunities. 

An initial focus will be supporting delivery of key workstreams in our Clean Energy Futures Programme, where our vision is for an affordable and accessible energy system in which all people can enjoy the benefits of increasingly clean, decentralised and interconnected energy. The Research and Events Coordinator will work alongside the Strategy and Projects Leads for Clean Energy Futures to manage engagement with the communities of practice that feed into our Clean Energy Futures work. This includes the Member Taskforce on Energy and the Multi-stakeholder Expert Group, comprised of cross-sector experts from business, academia and government.

The Coordinator will also contribute to project delivery through research into energy policy and practice and report writing, as well as joining programme strategy discussions in a strongly collaborative and non-hierarchical environment. We also anticipate the Coordinator working closely with our Insights Lead to conduct desk research and stakeholder interviews to deliver insights components of Sustainability Programme workstreams. 

After an initial 6-month period focused on Clean Energy Futures, there will be opportunities for the Coordinator to broaden their remit to other projects and topics within the Sustainability Programme.

Reflecting this breadth and the opportunities to grow, the Coordinator will initially report into the Director of Sustainability, who will provide guidance and mentoring support.

The ideal candidate is a highly organised, proactive and energetic individual who can demonstrate their knowledge and professional interest in sustainability and an understanding of the importance of consumers in the transition. They should be comfortable working remotely in a busy and varied global environment and able to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.Prior knowledge of the energy sector is useful but not a pre-requisite.

This role can be shaped to focus on variety of potential topics, capabilities and opportunities as we grow the team, depending on the needs of the organisation and skills and interests of the individual.

Key Responsibilities 

Key responsibilities of the role include the following:  

• Project Coordination: Support the implementation of Sustainability Programme projects, with an initial focus on Clean Energy Futures. This will include managing project plans and tracking timelines for project deliverables, as well as engaging project partners to keep them updated on project progress. 

• Research support: Support the Clean Energy Futures Strategy and Project Leads in conducting research and gathering examples and insights from our global network of stakeholders to inform the development of our analysis, reports and proposals. Support the Insights Lead with consumer insights research and stakeholder interviews. 

• Community coordination and meeting organisation: Support organisation of in-person and online stakeholder workshops or meetings including supporting the development of agendas, invite lists and online and in-person logistical arrangements where needed. This may include project related meetings and representation at other events and high-level global moments such as COP31. 

• Communications support: Draft, provide input to, and disseminate communications (e.g. meeting minutes, research reports, topic briefings) to project stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely and appropriate communications. 

• Strategic inputs: Contribute your thoughts and ideas to development and delivery of the clean energy futures and wider sustainability work programmes and strategy as needed. 

The overall work of Consumers International: 

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to support the implementation of the Strategic and Business Plans.

• Contribute as needed to team meetings and other Consumers International-wide communication and outreach. 

• Embody the culture and values of Consumers International and help us deliver on those. 

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. There would be the opportunity to progress to the Senior Skylight Psychologist role when they meet the relevant clinical and leadership competencies, in line with Crisis’ Preceptorship Framework.

Qualifications: You must be a Practitioner Psychologist registered with the HCPC. For the Skylight Psychologist role, we will consider applications from individuals due to complete doctoral training.

Hours: Part-time 14 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Salary: Full-time and part-time (14hours per week) salaries are as follows:

• Skylight Psychologist, qualified within the last 18 months:
  • £50,757 per annum FTE (part-time £20,302)
• Senior Skylight Psychologist:
  • 18 months to 4 years qualified - £58,364 per annum FTE (part-time £23,345)
  • 5 to 7 years qualified - £60,454 per annum FTE (part-time £24,181)
  • 8+ years qualified - £64,504 per annum FTE (part-time £25,801)

Location: Crisis Skylight London 50 – 52 Commercial Street, E1 6LT This is a primarily onsite role, so you can support our members and team face to face, but some homeworking may be an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.

About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, a Regional Lead Clinical Psychologist and nine Practitioner Psychologists as well as Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, academia, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. You will join an extraordinary team of frontline lead workers with a focus on people facing homelessness who have survived a range of difficult and traumatic experiences.

We are looking for someone with post qualification experience of working within complex systems and you may have direct experience of working with people who experience homelessness.

Our Youth and Play Practitioners will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Support managers with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates

• Prepare offer letters, contracts and new starter packs

• Carry out right‑to‑work and reference checks

• Co‑ordinate induction plans and ensure new starters are set up on our systems

• Provide admin support for recruitment of staff, trustees and committee members (We typically recruit around five roles per year, so this is steady but manageable.)

HR Administration – Employees

• Keep personnel files accurate and up to date

• Process changes such as hours, job titles, salary amendments and contract renewals

• Draft routine HR letters (e.g., confirmations, probation outcomes)

• Support the review and updating of HR policies

• Manage the quarterly rota for our advice line

HR Administration – Volunteers

• Maintain accurate records for trustees and committee members

• Support governance admin such as registers of interest and suitability checks

• Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements

• Work closely with the Head of Finance & Resources on governance tasks (Governance cycles are predictable and well‑supported.)

Use your persuasive influencing skills to manage and deliver CPRE London’s public-facing campaigns at a critical time for London’s green spaces.

The capital’s Green Belt, parks, playing fields and nature reserves are coming under increasing threat from development and commercial interests. As an experienced campaigner your skills will help us to respond to these challenges: in summary this role will carry responsibility for management and oversight of our Campaigns, managing CPRE London’s policy and campaigns work to engage, inform and influence decision makers and individuals, by promoting the importance of protecting and enhancing green space and ensuring development is sustainable.

Our Policy and Campaigns Manager will have a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns and projects, ideally within the environmental NGO sector. This exciting role will involve managing and supporting our network of volunteers and local campaigners and working in partnership with other organisations and coalitions to make a real difference for London’s environment.

Initiative, enthusiasm coupled with an understanding of the planning system and related green space issues in London are all important for this post, which offers scope for future career development within an established charitable organisation.

Could you become the personal champion of a young person facing barriers to achieving their goals? The South Coast Foundations team are looking for a new Youth Development Lead!  Working across our Get Started and Explore programmes, you’ll lead personal development sessions that take our Foundation programmes to new heights.  

The sessions will range from outdoor activities in green spaces to world of work experiences, creative projects, life skills and everything in between!  You won’t be sitting behind a screen every day; this is an active role which will involve frequent, funded travel between Southampton and Portsmouth to deliver these exciting programmes, as well as programme visits and quarterly short residential trips. You will provide pastoral support for young people, helping them to apply their newly acquired skills to their progression into education or employment. Keeping things on point means meticulously recording info and data about our programme participants, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey aligns perfectly with our funding contracts and has maximum impact for everyone involved.

Safety always comes first, so keeping a watchful eye on safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection is part of the deal! You’ll empower our delivery partners and service providers to make a difference through exciting and impactful partnership work. Together, we will ensure every young person embarks on a remarkable journey, experiencing the extraordinary and achieving the dreams they've aspired to.

Role Overview:
The Talent Set is delighted to partner with the client on a fantastic individual giving officer role. The successful candidate will support key fundraising initiatives, including face-to-face and in-memory giving programmes, contributing to the organisation’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing a new face-to-face fundraising programme, including creating materials, scripts, and supporter onboarding journeys.
• Manage and grow in-memory giving initiatives, developing engaging supporter communications and stewardship strategies.
• Support delivery and analysis of multi-channel direct mail appeals, working with content creators and segmentation data.
• Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data governance policies.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver engaging campaigns and provide administrative support for fundraising activities.
• Contribute to other projects such as merchandise and lottery initiatives as required.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in individual giving, including delivery of income streams like regular or in-memory donations.
• Familiar with managing supporter data in CRM systems, ideally Donorfy, with a good understanding of campaign tracking and reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging supporter content.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and proactively adapt to new tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data.
• Confident with digital tools, including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in supporting the aims of the organisation.
