About the role:

The Advance Prison Advocate will support sentenced women facing imminent release from custody, providing pre-release support; focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion.

The Prison Advocate will develop a referral pathway with the Offender Management team within the prison, for women to access the service and will work in partnership with the existing service providers operating within the prison. You will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified above including providing ‘through the gate support’. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.

You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.

You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

About You:

To be successful as the Advance Prison Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).

The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.

You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines

You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

Therapeutic Management

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL:

As the Project Development Manager (RTP), this role will strategically lead the Rethinking Pain programme into its next phase, ensuring continued impact, quality, and sustainability. The Grants and Trusts Manager will play a vital role in growing income from Charitable Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory funding by identifying new funding opportunities, developing compelling, high-quality funding applications, and delivering excellent stewardship. Key Responsibilities Trusts, Foundations & Statutory Fundraising • Identify, research, and qualify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies – including Arts Council England - to support the conservation of our artistic, heritage, learning, and engagement activity. • Lead on writing and submitting high-quality funding applications, securing both unrestricted income and project-specific funding aligned with Lakeland Arts’ strategy. • Develop compelling proposals that clearly articulate the significance of our extensive collections, the benefit of public access to these and the value of our heritage, and community impact, using evaluation data, audience insight, and partnership testimonials. • Maintain ownership of a proactive and balanced funding pipeline, ensuring prospects are thoughtfully approached and progressed through the fundraising cycle. As a People & Culture Advisor, you’ll support the delivery of a high quality People service across the organisation. Working alongside the P&C Business Partners, you’ll be supporting managers through both informal and formal employee relations cases, including sickness absence, grievance, disciplinary and capability matters, ensuring these are handled fairly, consistently and in line with policy and best practice.

You’ll also play an important role in supporting volunteer managers across Blue Cross, helping to develop volunteering management solutions and providing support with volunteer systems and processes. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to people projects, management workshops, policy development and reporting, helping to continuously improve the support and services we provide to our people.

About you

You’ll be an approachable and confident HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys building trusted relationships with managers and colleagues. Comfortable managing a varied workload, you’ll be able to balance day-to-day operational activity with longer-term projects and improvement work.

You’ll have strong communication and administration skills, a proactive approach and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. You’ll also share our compassionate, courageous and inclusive values and be passionate about creating positive experiences for both employees and volunteers.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Previous experience of working in HR, gained throughout the employee life cycle 
• Experience of advising managers through formal and informal Employee Relations cases including sickness absence, grievance, disciplinary and capability
• Confident in dealing with numbers and experience of analysing and reporting data 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-facing skills 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Good attention to detail 
• Great administration skills 
• A proven track record of prioritising and organising work and projects within a busy and multi-functioning role 
• IT literate with MS Office, web-based platforms, and databases 
• The ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Blue Cross values

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to grow this vital area of income. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver our trusts and foundations strategy at a key point in our organisational development, helping to diversify income and support innovative, impactful programmes.

You will lead on identifying and securing new funding opportunities, building strong donor relationships, and writing compelling proposals and reports. You’ll also represent Cord externally and work collaboratively across teams to develop strong cases for support.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of securing funding from trusts, foundations, or philanthropic donors, alongside excellent writing and communication skills. You will be confident building relationships and proactively developing opportunities, with a strong understanding of the philanthropic landscape.

This is a home-based role, with some occasional travel to Coventry required for meetings. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Exercise and Socialise is a programme of weekly exercise sessions specially designed for different needs, abilities and interests, but all aimed at the frail and unconfident.

For the financial year 2026/27 we have funding to provide 30 classes across the 5 neighbourhoods in Lambeth, maximising coverage and giving space to local needs.

The primary focus is on improving physical health and confidence and getting people active again and increasing their resilience. But it also has secondary aims of decreasing isolation and improving people's mental health.

Specific Duties

1. To assess referrals that come in and assess their eligibility. Help them choose a suitable class based on their ability.
2. Responsible for sourcing accessible venues.
3. Setting up the groups and engaging paid instructors.
4. To provide regular monitoring and impact reports for our funders, using both qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate how the support has benefited participants.
5. To regularly monitor the KPIs and outcomes set by funders, ensuring the project remains on track to achieve targets and identifying any areas requiring additional support or improvement.
6. To deliver a diverse mix of exercise groups, including chair yoga, seated aerobics, Tai Chi, and seated jive. Offer low-impact sports like table tennis and weight training, and introduce targeted activities specifically designed to overcome the challenge of engaging older men.
7. To promote the groups at meetings and support our comms team to promote the service.
8. To create referral pathways for health professionals, Social Prescribers Link Workers, Neighbourhood Wellbeing Workers, etc.

General Duties

1. Work closely with the Head of Commercial Services and Volunteering.
2. Develop and maintain links with Public Health and the Community Rehab and Falls team.
3. To recruit tutors/instructors who have adequate qualifications and insurance.
4. To make sure relevant information/registers are collected and put on our Podio system.
5. To have relevant information about clubs, groups and MYSocial so that when the course ends, people have the confidence and fitness to join other exercise/activities.
6. Carry out a wellbeing assessment (via the Outcome Star) and monitor at the beginning and at the end of the course to monitor impact on mobility and wellbeing at the end of the course and record and report findings on Podio.
7. Manage budgets and resources.

Please note the contract length and salary:

Fixed-term contract of:
● 31.5 hours until March 31st 2027.
● Due to funding, the hours will be reduced to 14 hours (2 days a week) from April 1st 2027 to March 31st 2028.

Salary of:

£27,595 per annum for 35 hours
● Pro-rata: 31.5 hours until 31/03/2027 at £24,835, reducing to 14 hours at £11,038 from 01/06/27 to 31/03/28.

We’re looking for a Regional Corporate Partnership Development Manager to help us strengthen and grow corporate fundraising delivered through the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Community Fundraising team, supporting our vision of a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer.

About the role

As a Regional Corporate Partnership Development Manager, you’ll be a key member of the Corporate Partnership team, playing an essential role in building the capability, confidence and consistency of Fundraising Managers across the UK.

This role is all about empowering others to secure and grow high value corporate partnerships. Drawing on your own experience of winning and managing £50k+ partnerships, you’ll coach Fundraising Managers through the full corporate sales cycle from pipeline development and proposition shaping, to pitching, negotiation, contracting and stewardship.

You’ll design and deliver training, embed best practice processes, and create practical toolkits that strengthen regional corporate fundraising. You’ll also support account management activity, helping Fundraising Managers deliver excellent stewardship, renewal strategies and long term growth for existing partners.

Working collaboratively across Community Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships and High Value Operations, you’ll help ensure our Community Fundraising Managers have the skills, tools and confidence to deliver exceptional corporate partnerships.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you bring strong experience of securing high value corporate partnerships and a strong understanding of what excellent corporate fundraising looks like. You’ve personally identified opportunities, shaped propositions, pitched to senior decision makers and successfully closed significant partnerships.

Just as importantly, you have a coaching mindset. You enjoy and have experience developing others, sharing your expertise and helping Fundraising Managers build their confidence and capability.

You bring:

• Proven experience winning high value corporate partnerships, with a strong track record of achieving financial targets while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• End to end sales cycle expertise, from identifying opportunities and shaping propositions to pitching, negotiating, contracting and onboarding partners, supported by strong organisational skills.
• Coaching and capability building skills with experience training, mentoring or upskilling colleagues to improve confidence and performance, ensuring teams stay structured and focused.
• Strong communication and presentation ability, confident engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Creative and commercially minded thinker, generating innovative, viable ideas that strengthen partnership outcomes and are delivered through clear planning and structured execution.

Working arrangements

This is 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a field-based role covering the UK. You'll need to live in England or be able to relocate to this region. This role requires regular travel within England, and occasional travel to other parts of the UK. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

This role is a varied one that collaborates with colleagues and supporters daily. That could be working with our innovation team to maximise marketing opportunities to our Inspire product members, ensuring our website content is a powerful call to action, or working with our supporter journey team to plan an exceptional welcome journey for new gifts in Wills enquirers.
