Key responsibilities

The Minerva service in Thames Valley provides one-to-one advocacy and holistic support for women affected by the criminal justice system. As the Interventions and Women’s Centre Co-ordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring that women supported by the Thames Valley Minerva Service access an environment that is warm, welcoming, and accessible.
You will lead on resourcing donations of clothes and other items to support our clients, as well as support-packs and resources, depending on the needs of the service.

About You:
To be successful you will need the below experience, knowledge and skills:
Bringing knowledge of issues facing women offenders and those at risk of offending, both in and out of the Criminal Justice System, and knowledge of trauma informed approaches in supporting vulnerable women with a range of complex needs. Previous experience in office management and/or administration roles with excellent literary and administrative skills; including information technology, data collection and in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. In partnership with Southern Health Foundation Trust, Solent Mind has an established Peer Support Team throughout Southampton’s Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Primary Care Networks (PCNs) & Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Services. As a Peer Support Worker, it is essential you have lived experience of the mental health difficulties associated with gambling disorder and understand the key concepts of recovery. Working as a part of the Peer Support Team within Southampton, you will need to have the confidence and skills to work with NHS staff at all levels and to work with service users with a range of ages and needs. The ability to travel is essential for this role as although you will mainly be based at home, you will be required to travel into Southampton on a regular basis to attend team meetings and one-to-one reviews.

About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our bank as a Welfare Officer, providing cover as required for the SSAFA RAF Service across the UK.
Our Bank Welfare Officers will provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family on an ad hoc basis when a full-time member of the team is unavailable to do so.
As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you may be asked to use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian addiction recovery centre where we see men's lives changing on a daily basis.
If you have admin experience, IT skills, and great attention to detail, we’d love you to join us in this part-time role assisting with administration relating to our supporters and their donations, as well as other admin tasks.

MAIN TASKS OF THE JOB:
Supporter Relations Admin: Assisting the Administration & Supporter Relations Manager to maximise support (finance, prayer & goodwill) for Yeldall Manor through the development and maintenance of good relationships with the supporters of Yeldall’s work (individuals and churches) including:
- Processing and recording cheque, cash, BACS, standing order and giving website donations
- Sending thank you letters
- Processing and filing gift aid declarations and liaising with Deputy Finance Manager re gift aid submission
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly prayer diary & quarterly newsletter
- Being part of organising supporter events
- Possibly assisting with updating social media and website
Trust Admin: Contributing to maintaining positive and effective relationships with supportive trust funds through:

The Role
The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience through face-to-face interactions and telephone communications. Collaborating closely with the Facilities Manager and job share partner, the role involves efficiently handling queries, managing the reception email account, and coordinating visitor bookings and parking logistics.

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation.
