Key Purpose:
To work as part of a team that provide high quality services to farming people that come to RABI for support.
Key Responsibilities:

Person Specification:
Essential
- Experience providing services to vulnerable service users, listening and supporting in a non-judgemental way.

Overall Duties of the role will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
- Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
- Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements
- Being able to transport children and young people to events, appointments and meetings (mileage reimbursed)
- Organising and participating in virtual and face-to-face events and occasional residential meet-ups
- Managing all paperwork associated with events and activities
- Willingness to work flexibly, according to deadlines and needs of our families which may include some after-school, evening and weekend work

About the role

About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. One of the Charity's main objectives is to support neutering. In 2020 we helped 109,000 cats with vouchers for neutering. The neutering finance team record accurate information through our neutering schemes that supports the wider Cats Protection aims and objectives. They develop good working relationships with Veterinary practices and payments are made on a timely basis. They are a team of six, working closely together to help and support each other and the wider Finance department.
Responsibilities of our Neutering Finance Assistant:
As a Neutering Finance Assistant, you will work accurately and diligently processing neutering vouchers and related invoices on a daily basis, checking data entered and responding to vets in relation to query files. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role. You will assist in the checking of neutering statements, ensuring payments have been processed and vet payment details are up to date. You will handle appropriately all telephone, email and written enquiries regarding Neutering Vouchers from other departments, vets and branches, interrogating the system to answer queries and producing reports for vets. Developing knowledge on voucher campaigns, cat neutering and the aims and objectives of Cats Protection to support vets and branches.
What we’re looking for in our Neutering Finance Assistant:
- Strong knowledge and experience of working within an office environment – ideally within a finance team
- Ability to process data accurately and quickly – a keen eye for detail is a must
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel & Outlook to an intermediate level, this is essential as the role is heavily data entry based
- Experience of working in an accounts receivable or accounts payable department – desirable
- Experience of using accounting software/systems or a similar type of database desirable but not essential

About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our bank as a Welfare Officer, providing cover as required for the SSAFA RAF Service across the UK.
Our Bank Welfare Officers will provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family on an ad hoc basis when a full-time member of the team is unavailable to do so.
As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you may be asked to use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.
You will work closely with RAF welfare teams, local authorities, health, education, civilian agencies, charities and other military organisations to ensure the best outcome for the service user.

About you
To thrive in this role you will have relevant experience of supporting adults, families and children/young people. You will be able to take a flexible and creative approach to problem solving. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver presentations with confidence.

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation. You will support the CEO with creating the role, strategy, systems, and activities of income generation for the organisation. You will lead in securing funds from trusts and foundations through grant applications and develop the individual giving campaign as well as leading the growth and future development of new income streams from individuals, corporate partnerships, and other sources. You will have to load and unload deliveries of donated stock to our shops in the South East region, you will be based at our Southwater shop and some of your destinations will include Deal, Salisbury and the South Coast.
You will also at times have to transfer stock between shops, and assist shop staff/volunteers by moving, loading and storing stock in an appropriate locations as directed.
You will have to carry out some administrative procedures required including records of journeys/mileage and petrol receipts.
At times you might have to prepare stock generation envelopes for drop off and go back and collect them as directed.
But above all else you must have the following in order to apply........
-A full clean driving licence for at least 2 years
-Knowledge of Health and Safety issues including lifting and moving goods
