About BEfriend
BEfriend is a registered charity operating in the London Borough of Ealing since 1994, and more recently, launching in the neighbouring borough of Hounslow. Our aim is to reduce chronic loneliness and isolation experienced by local people through one-to-one volunteer befriending and social events.
Role Purpose
To take responsibility for BEfriend’s trust and foundation applications and generate new funding opportunities.
Main Duties:
Trusts and foundations
● Lead on the trust and foundation funding applications which deliver BEfriend’s strategy.
● Work with the staff team to ensure that BEfriend’s work is accurately represented in funding applications.
● Research funding prospects and ensure a strong pipeline of applications at all times.
● Develop and maintain good working relationships with current and potential funders.
● Lead on reports to funders and work with colleagues to ensure reports are completed on time, meeting funder reporting requirements.
● Evaluate bids
Other tasks
● Work with the CEO to develop a fundraising strategy for the next 3 years and agree fundraising targets and key performance indicators
● Build and develop our Individual Giving Campaign
● Work with the CEO to develop relationships with statutory bodies
● Develop relationships with local businesses to engage supporters
● Manage engagement and fundraising events as required

At WithYou we are looking for a Media and Communications Lead to join our organisation. This is a full time, permanent position based from home. This role will join our Marketing and Communications directorate, an innovative team of people who are committed to raising the profile of WithYou and connecting with our stakeholders in new ways.
Reporting into the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will take the lead in running the reactive press office function as well as planning and delivering a regular calendar of national proactive media moments, securing positive national coverage in print, broadcast and digital channels. You will also be responsible for evaluating the results and measuring the impact of the media coverage you secure.
In this role you will be responsible for developing a wide range of high- quality media materials including press releases, opinion pieces, blogs and statements.
You will provide co-ordinated localised media and general communications support to our Regional Heads of Marketing and Communications. This includes taking a proactive approach to generating story ideas in local areas, coordinating joint press activities and attending press opportunities in England and Scotland.
You will also contribute to other content development such as collecting stories, producing film, photo and social media and website posts, working to grow WithYou’s reputation and influence, supporting our income generation activities.
This is a full time, permanent position based from home. The salary for this role is £37,000 - £42,000 per annum.
REQUIRED SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with excellent creative writing skills and experience in creating content for a wide range of audiences, making complex articles interesting and accessible to all. You will have an excellent news sense and the ability to generate a hook for a story, with proven ability in securing media coverage. Strong organisational skills and being able to plan ahead are key to this role, along with experience of working to tight deadlines.

Role Purpose:
This role requires a driven and passionate individual to immerse themselves in their region promoting the amazing outcomes that the Kooth services deliver. This position plays an essential part in Kooth’s growth strategy for our child and adult services platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the work of our Kooth services for Children, Young People and Adults by developing new sales opportunities for growth and expansion across the region as well as taking an active role in the renewal and uplift activities, including supporting high quality tender opportunities.
- Using existing relationships and understanding to inform and support the discussions; meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build a broad strategic network of stakeholders across the region, NHS, local authorities, GPs, VCSE, Service User groups and other organisations through meetings, events and conferences.
- Work closely with ICS leads to develop high performing and sustainable relationships.
- Ensure that Salesforce is maintained with contacts, leads, opportunities and activities and be able to analyse data to advance conversations with commissioners and stakeholders.
- Use data skills and working with Strategic Commercial Manager (SCM) to create compelling narrative underpinned with high-quality business cases for commissioners that secure new logo service contracts and support renewals.
- Support contract negotiation, on boarding and service mobilisation with successful handover to Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
- Work as a key member of the B2G commercial team, actively contributing to new campaigns to drive forward new sales and promoting Kooth’s services at forums and presenting at regional events.
- Read, understand and influence mental health strategy reports, CYP & Adult plans, developments in the field of young people/adults and mental health and having a clear grasp of the agenda driving our customers/commissioners. Then feeding back to the Head of Business Development, senior management team and locality managers ensuring what is delivered is effective, relevant and innovative.
- Undertake any requests made by the Senior Kooth Leadership Team that are relevant to the post.

- Ability to meet sales and renewals targets and evidence of working in a team to develop and implement business growth strategies and campaigns

Requirements:

- Proven experience negotiating with NHS & Local Authority commissioners and gaining stakeholder consensus that have led to significant contracts
- Proven experience of working in partnership with commissioners and providers to successfully redesign services and develop new solutions
- Knowledge and understanding of health and social inequalities and the impact this can have on children, young people and adult’s mental health
- Knowledge and understanding of the changing in commissioning landscape and the impact on mental health and social care services
