Joining the Performance Marketing team, at a well-loved Children’s Charity, the role of Digital Marketing Business Partner will be to support the development, delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across a variety of campaigns including Brand, Volunteering, and New Product Development, along with coordinating digital activity including website content and organic social activity. This is a 12 month FTC, and can be based fully remote, or from the London office.

As a Digital Marketing Business Partner to the wider charity, you will collaborate with stakeholder and partner teams to reach and engage priority audiences, with best-in-class marketing which meets strategic objectives. The team work as an internal strategic agency to the wider charity.  

Joining a large, established charity, you will;

- work in partnership with colleagues from the Comms, Income Generation and Technology directorates

- leverage data and insight to feed into campaign planning, briefing and development

- project manage campaign work, optimising and reporting on campaign work

- lead on delivery of engaging content (images, copy, video)

- create, lead and execute omnichannel marketing strategy

Main purpose of job

The post-holder will be part of a multi-professional team providing holistic care and support

for children with life-limiting condition and their families. The post-holder will work in

collaboration with the family and other services providing care and support for the family.

The role includes active involvement in the education, training and professional development

of other team members including volunteers.

The Shooting Star Children’s Hospices care service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a

year. The post holder will be required to work a variety of shifts across the 24 hours.

Band 6 roles will also participate in the on call rota.

Part 2: Main duties and key responsibilities

• Act in accordance with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices policies, guidelines and

standards. To keep up to date with national policies and guidance.

• Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.

• Participate in the assessment, care planning and care management of each child and

family receiving care from Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

• Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide holistic,

Evidence-based nursing care. This includes completion of the Shooting Star Children’s

Hospices care competencies

• Liaise with clinical, non-clinical and facilities staff in order to maintain a safe, friendly and

welcoming environment for the children/ young people, families, visitors and staff

• Ensure cleanliness and infection control standards are maintained within the clinical area

taking appropriate action where these standards are not maintained and escalate to

Lead Nurses/ Head of Hospice Services where necessary

• Act as an advocate for the child / young person and family ensuring the provision of

appropriate information and support services

• Ensure effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team,

parents, relatives, visitors and external agencies

• Participate as a team member in the other activities that complete the care cycle, i.e.

laundry, the environment and outings with the young person and their family.

You will be part of a wider Volunteering team responsible for developing our approach to volunteering and engaging stakeholders and partners through local events, shows, talks etc.

We currently involve approximately 500 volunteers who help raise funds and awareness of RABI within local communities.  Most of our volunteers are linked to one of our 40 county committees across England & Wales.

You will take the lead for volunteering across a range of projects including the development and implementation of new volunteering systems and processes and the piloting of a new volunteer ambassador programme.  The role also includes the line management of the Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator. 

Key responsibilities:

Volunteering systems & processes

• As the lead ‘subject matter expert’ for volunteering, you will lead on the implementation of new volunteering systems & processes across RABI.  This includes making decisions to support system development, testing, communications and training for users.
• Work closely with the National Volunteering Manager and the team of Regional Managers, to ensure they are equipped and supported to make best use of the new systems. 
• Work with the Head of Volunteering and Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator to ensure the appropriate processes and policies are in place to support good practice and an accessible and inclusive volunteering experience.
• Lead on the evaluation of new systems & processes for volunteering and agree clear recommendations / priorities for future development.

Diversify and expand volunteer offer

• Lead on development and implementation of new volunteer roles – including the introduction of community and corporate ambassadors.
• Work with a range of stakeholders to clarify priorities for future development for new types of volunteering – from flexible, micro roles, to more formal roles such as volunteer ambassadors. 
• Develop and agree approach to volunteer recruitment, engagement and development – to support ambassadors and other roles.
• Put in place a clear development plan for ambassadors – including opportunities to come together, collaborate on future content and training etc.
• Manage and evaluate pilots – gathering evidence to inform future development. 
  

Volunteer learning and development

• Understand volunteer learning and training needs and organisational requirements to inform future development.

• Work with Head of Volunteering to improve volunteer communication – including volunteer forums and newsletters. 
• Lead on improvements to informal and formal recognition of RABI volunteers / county committees – including introduction of long service awards and involvement in national initiatives such as Volunteers Week and Big Help Out.

Team management and leadership

• Work closely with the Head of Volunteering, National Volunteering and Senior Regional Managers to set direction, make decisions and engage the wider team.

Role purpose
The Campaigns and Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for attracting, converting and retaining supporters through our campaigns and digital marketing activity.  The role will particularly suit a creative leader with a keen interest in supporter acquisition, data insights, analysis, testing and measurement.

The role

As Welfare Officer you will work alongside four National Support Coordinators, ensuring our members receive welfare and benefit related information, advice, and guidance via telephone, zoom meetings, and email.

Who are we?

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness, as it is a little-unknown condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the illness. 

We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors. 

Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including access to specialist welfare and benefits advice.

The myasthenia’s are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia, and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

The Youth Environmental Service is looking for someone special to join our young and growing team. Someone who can come in as right hand to the Programme Director, with the energy and experience to thrive in a boldly ambitious social enterprise start-up.

As Head of Delivery, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of YES. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering proofs of concept that demonstrate the programme’s viability and potential, paving the way for it to scale nationwide by 2030.

Initially on a six-month contract, but with the option to extend, your first focus will be on laying the groundwork for our next proof of concept, designing the programme, identifying partners and securing funding that will allow us to create up to 50 roles in a specific region (TBC once in role) in 2025.

Longer term, we're looking for someone who can:

• Deliver Proof of concepts: Design, develop and deliver future projects that support the creation of new paid placements in different regional hubs across the country. Building on lessons from our first pilot we need to continue to refine what YES does, how it works, all with the goal of building a body of compelling evidence that will shape how we scale our vision.
• Own the 'Product': We need a clear, accessible, and compelling proposition for how we do what we do and why it works. You’ll be responsible for keeping hold of that core product, and making sure it doesn’t get diluted as the programme begins to scale.
• Secure funding: Engage with funders, big and small, to bring in the financial support required to deliver our proofs of concept. We’ll need to experiment with a more sustainable long-term funding model, so you’ll need to be able to explore new approaches to funding placements, working with a range of different funders and through different funding approaches.
• Build a coalition: We don’t want to do this alone. You’ll need to engage nature, net zero and circular economy organisations as well as delivery partners, creating a collaborative network of organisations who can work together to deliver our programmes and create the foundations on which we can scale in the future.
