Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federal corption of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For almost 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Purpose of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer role:
As Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and the nurturing of relationships. Leading on maximising support through the corporate fundraising streams, the post holder will draft and submit applications among other approaches to prospective funders and donors. In addition to developing persuasive cases for support in line with organisational priorities, the post holder will ensure that the activities for which funds are sought are impactful, measurable and can be effectively reported on to funders. Understanding Women’s Aid work, business plans and strategic priorities will be essential, as well as an involvement in fundraising events with the purpose of relationship building, nure and networking.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

To be responsible for a portfolio of prospective and existing corporate supporters to solicit large donations, funding and ensure meaningful partnerships are created

Work to match funders aims with Women’s Aid’s vision, purpose and mission – using creativity and innovation to package up relevant areas of Women’s Aid work and strategy to be appealing to funders

Understanding the organisational needs and strategy in order to provide excellent account management to Corporate funders and Major Donors/High Givers.

To employ a variety of personal engagement mechanisms to ensure that prospects and supporters become, and remain, fully engaged with our cause whilst ensuring the highest level of standards of data capture are maintained on the organisational CRM.
What we are looking for in our Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

Proven experience of successful fundraising from Corporate supporters, major & mid level donors and Trusts.

Experience of acquiring and managing corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.

Demonstrable initiative and determination.

Line management experience.

Experience of writing reports on activities, summarising and analysing figures to make recommendations using Word, Excel and databases.

Experience of managing events for high level donors.

Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Experience of working within agreed budget constraints, ensuring that expenditure is maintained within budgets, and that income is closely monitored.

Good knowledge of the funding landscape and of best practice in multiple areas of fundraising (corporate, trusts and foundations, and major donor).

Experience of using a CRM database, preferably Raiser’s Edge.

Willingness to work occasional unsocial hours as required.

Understanding of the role of Women’s Aid, of domestic abuse and the issues relating including the impacts on women and children.

Community Fundraising Manager
The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

Overall purpose:
As Fundraising and Campaigns Marketing Manager in the Marketing & Communications team, you will drive Ben’s fundraising and commercial services with individuals and businesses within the automotive industry. - Support to look after brand management of Ben’s fundraising and commercial brands (DoIt4Ben, ILC, Ben Ball, Ben Training etc.)

AWP is looking to recruit a new role to their Finance team -Income and Financial Reporting Accountant.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, Treasury and Finance Systems, you will manage a small team and will ensure that all matters relating to income and capital accounting are carried out in a timely and accurate manner communicating with NHSE and DOH to ensure all information meets appropriate standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Bid Writer to join our Business Development team working on tender opportunities, tracking new and existing business and handling of new contracts for POhWER.
POhWER needs to increase and diversify its income to achieve greater financial sustainability. To do this we need to grow our services to reach new parts of the UK and new areas of work. Our Bid Writers coordinate the organisation’s response to all tenders. This includes re-tendering for our existing services as well as responding to tenders for services in new areas, or new services in our existing areas.
The role includes:
· Lead and co-ordinate tender activity ensuring that POhWER wins and retains new and existing services and contracts
· Take ownership of the bid response, style and format and overseeing it through the production process.
· Prepare and write tenders in a persuasive manner that takes full account of customer-specific style and content.
You will have excellent written communication, attention to detail and proof reading skills and a good knowledge of POhWER’s services. You will also have an ability to work to strict deadlines and a confident, flexible and positive attitude.

Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated funding officer who has exceptional attention to detail, excellent prospecting skills, and a track record of securing funding from Grants, Trusts, and Foundations.
Preferably the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous success in raising funds, have experience of working to and achieving financial targets within deadline and budgets, experience of managing relationships at varying levels and the ability to write persuasive and compelling applications.
The post holder will be required to manage the day-to-day fundraising for the charity, identifying appropriate funding opportunities, submitting applications, reports and evaluations to funders about spend. The candidate may also be asked to support our users to find individual grants.
