This is an exciting and groundbreaking project to help children understand about equality and diversity. Get in touch if you are passionate about creating a society of equal opportunities and live the values of this project.
We have done workshops in schools over the past few months and now are going to bring the different schools together in school twining sessions. You love working with children and young people, and are able to volunteer during school hours. You can relate well to children, and have a patient and positive attitude.
You will work with the project coordinator to support twinning days between primary schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. These twinning days will bring together schools with different demographics whose pupils have completed our Create Against Hate workshop sessions. At the twinning day their pupils will get to meet other children with whom they might never come into contact and work together to create a piece of art which will feature in an arts trail around Bristol.
- Support the coordinator with group work with children
- Work with children to create pieces of art
- Support children to complete activities and conversations about diversity and inclusion
