Home-based
London, Greater London
£30,000 - £35,000 per year
Temporary, Full-time
Job description

We’re seeking a Policy and Campaigns Manager to support our ambition to influence government policy and decision-makers to recognise and support coaching in prisons as an effective rehabilitation intervention.

You will develop our policy positions and voice, ensuring that we are listening to those with lived experience. You will initiate and lead our campaigns, helping to position Spark Inside as the number one coaching organisation in the criminal justice system. You will be our lead expert in prison policy and rehabilitation, and ensure there is a strong policy and research basis for all our campaigns. You will work across the organisation to ensure policy developments feed into our work, and to ensure that what we do is presented in an engaging way to policy-makers and relevant stakeholders.

This is an interim role initially for 6 months, with the potential to extend, as we navigate the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the delivery of our programmes in prison. We believe that more than ever, we need to be advocating for our work, so that those in prison are not forgotten.

Please see JD for details and how to apply.
