How to apply
Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is a leading national organisation supporting individuals who sustain damage to the spinal cord, resulting in paralysis.
Trusts and Partnerships Assistant
Part time, 15hrs per week
£18,000 per annum, pro rata
1 year contract (with the possibility to extend dependent on funding)
Charitable trusts are very important to SIA and account for around £400,000 of our annual income. They provide much-needed financial support, without which we wouldn’t be able to deliver our vital services for spinal cord injured people. We’re seeking a Trusts and Partnerships Assistant who will support SIA’s trust fundraising activity.
You’ll be joining the charity at a pivotal time in its development. SIA has been successful in securing a major funding partnership that offers exciting opportunities for the future. Our passionate staff team are driving forward ambitious plans that will build on our success and achieve greater impact. We’ve created the new role of Trusts and Partnerships Assistant to help us maximise these opportunities.
We’re looking for someone committed and passionate, with outstanding written and research skills and a keen eye for detail. You don’t necessarily need a background in charity fundraising to be successful in this role, but you do need a positive work ethic and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently to deadlines.
You should also have a strong desire to learn about the work of SIA as well as trust fundraising. This role would suit someone looking to build their fundraising experience, or someone with relevant transferable skills seeking to move into the charity sector. Training and support will be provided.
The role is based at our offices in Milton Keynes and is part time (15 hours per week) with a salary of £18,000 per annum (pro rata). The contract is for one year with the possibility to extend dependent on funding.
Closing date for completed applications: 2nd August 5pm 2019
Interviews will be held at SIA House on 12th August 2019
