The Springboard Charity helps supporting young people achieve their potential, relieves unemployment for people of all ages and alleviates poverty by supporting people into employment within Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism.

Its trading subsidiary, Springboard UK is committed to promoting the industry as a “first choice” career through sustaining brand awareness, promoting careers, attracting talent and providing services to its Business Partners.

We provide a specialist careers advice and guidance service, educational services in schools, work experience, and programmes that support vulnerable people into employment. At the same time we deliver effective careers campaigns, engage in fund raising activities and support the industry.


The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, results driven, commercially astute leader, who is passionate about making a difference, to drive forward growth in London & South East.  The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering an ambitious programme of business growth and will lead and inspire our dedicated team to achieve our goals.

The Director for Springboard London & the South is responsible for securing the investment needed to deliver high performing and financial viable education and employability programmes delivered by The Springboard Charity and careers promotion and talent attraction business services to support the work of Springboard UK. The Director will ensure that the programme of work is tailored to the needs of London and regions within South East England as well as achieving measurable outcomes aligned to the Charity’s strategy and programmes. 

The successful candidate will be articulate, have experience in securing investment for Charities through Public funding, Trusts & foundations, the private sector and charity fundraising.

As a key member of Springboard’s leadership team, the London and South East Director plays a vital role contributing to the on-going development of Springboard’s strategic vision, goals, performance, impact and ensuring effective financial performance and regional growth.


The role will be based in London, with some potential for flexible working.
