Can you lead and deliver a programme to enable young people to ‘Explore, Dream, Believe, Achieve’ and so see real change in the community and individual life chances?
Are you driven to increase opportunities for young people to transform themselves and their communities?
We are looking for a highly skilled relational youth worker to lead and develop new work with young people in the BD2/10 communities. We are looking for someone who is willing to grow new work on strong foundations, but without existing hands on provision to start from. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to build and develop a highly effective and aspirational project.
You will be confident working in multiple settings with young people of all ages who may be vulnerable or challenging including detached work, open settings and targeted group work. Experience of working with schools would be highly beneficial. You will need experience of leadership and/or management, networking with other professionals in multiple sectors and you will need to be a highly motivated, flexible and resilient leader. The youth work at the Springfield Centre is being developed with support from emerge – a youth work charity in South Bradford.
Further information including the job descripton and application form is available via the apply weblink
