Team Leader – Telephone Triage Service £25,012

37 hours per week

The flexible, motivational and reliable post holder of this exciting role in Worcestershire will lead a team of Telephone Triage Practitioners who work from within the Crisis Resolution Team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The service is delivered over 2 shifts a day, 7 days a week from 5pm - 9am, 365 days of the year. The Triage Team use the UK Mental Health Triage Scale (UKMHTS), to determine whether the caller has a mental health related problem, the urgency of the situation and the most appropriate service response. This aims to provide timely access to appropriate mental health services and support.  See our website for more details about the service.

Supported by a Senior Practitioner, the Team Leader will work flexibly across the week to meet the needs of the service.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible working hours to manage their own work/life balance. Whilst some work can be undertaken from home, the Team Leader will work from both the hospital in Worcester and the Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon.  The Team Leader will initially work one shift a week triaging calls, to gain an in-depth working knowledge of both the callers and systems.

Skills and experience include:

• Staff management and leadership

• Team working

• Exceptional IT skills, working across a number of packages

• Reporting and evaluating
