Oxford, Oxfordshire
£38,325 - £44,957 per annum (depending on experience)
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

St Anne’s is a down-to-earth, friendly and independent-minded college. St Anne’s is modern in its outlook and architecture and open to the world, informal and yet academically demanding. St Anne’s is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Oxford, with around 770 students. St Anne’s is known for being ambitious, outward facing and collaborative. We aspire to understand the world and change it for the better.

The College seeks to appoint a Senior Development Officer who is responsible for high-value fundraising, with a primary focus on raising five, six and seven-figure gifts. The Officer will maintain a portfolio of donors and prospective donors from which they are expected to personally solicit donations, driving the future success of fundraising for St Anne’s. In addition, the post holder will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing philanthropic income in support of other College priorities.

This role would be most suited to an individual looking to gain experience within Higher Education to further their career. The successful candidate will ideally be a highly motivated fundraising professional with excellent administrative skills. They will be confident to initiate relationships with prospective donors and to identify new prospects and will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. We would also expect the post holder to be able to analyse complex data for the purpose of reporting to Stakeholders.

The position is full-time (36.25 hours per week) and the post holder will also attend regular evening and weekend events throughout the year; therefore, a degree of flexibility will be required.
