Job description

St Benedict’s Hospice in Sunderland offers free care, advice and support for patients, and their families, who have a life-limiting illness. St Benedict’s Hospice has a long history and our experienced and professional, clinical and volunteer teams are committed to providing the highest level of care.  Our supporters and donors are vital to sure that local people who are living through the most worrying of times are looked after and supported in a caring and dignified way.

We are looking for a Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager with a proven track record in securing a wide range of donations from Trusts and Foundations or comparable organisations.  You will have experience of developing and managing a portfolio of prospects and existing donors, and will be well used to writing compelling and tailored proposals for funders.  You will also be skilled in building and developing relationships with grant givers, ensuring outstanding supporter care and stewardship at all times.
