We have an exciting opportunity to join St Catherine’s Hospice as Head of Retail. The right candidate will be a great people person, who can successfully lead and coach a large team across multiple sites to consistently deliver top sales performance.
Organised, creative and an excellent communicator, the successful candidate will work to deliver the charity’s strategic plans to maximise income from our existing portfolio of shops; launch new shops and develop new retail initiatives, including our e-commerce operation. We are seeking an experienced, commercially focused individual who is driven to grow the success of our retail operations through effective leadership and management of people, resources and budget.
The St Catherine’s shops play a significant role in raising the £3.8m needed each year to cover the charity’s annual £5.6m running costs. Committed to ensuring the hospice gets the best return on every donation received, the shops are also important community hubs for the charity – providing a brand presence for St Catherine’s across the borough of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble.
