Health and Safety Coordinator
Salary - £27,981 to £30,739 per annum
37.5 hours per week – (12-month contract)

Are you a professional and well organised Health and Safety expert, looking to bring new ideas to an organisation?

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team on a temporary 1-year contract. You will provide advice and guidance to staff across the charity in line with our values and ethos. Reporting directly to our Head of Facilities, you will support the implementation of Health and Safety practices across all Estates and Facilities activities alongside wider charitable activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be a holder of a NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent in health and safety or related field) with supervisory experience in Health and Safety. You will have excellent previous experience of developing and implementing H&S procedures and policies, with great computer skills including MS Office and auditor safety software. A real people person, you will have the ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues at all levels and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.

St Elizabeth’s is situated in 68 acres of Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 80 in our Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with nursing and Day Centre.
