We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser with initiative, energy and ideas to join our hardworking and friendly team.
SFCS is a dynamic, forward-looking Adoption Agency that works to place the most vulnerable children into stable homes and provides support through a variety of services.
The overall purpose of the fund raising post is to generate income through applications to grant making trusts, with responsibility for managing and developing the trust programme.
We are looking for a fundraiser with drive and ideas, ideally someone who could bring in up to £250k per annum, but realise that there could be other good candidates who would still achieve a result. The lowest amount we need to raise is around £150k a year.
You will be joining a hard-working, friendly team who care passionately about the Charity’s work. You will be the sole fundraiser at SFCS, working closely with and reporting to the Finance Manager.
The overall purpose is to generate income through applications to grant making trusts, with responsibility for managing and developing the trust programme.
Additional responsibilities include raising the profile of the charity and generating other voluntary income in support of the delivery of the Society’s services.
