About the SOS Project
SOS is a trailblazing ex-offender led project that works across the country with vulnerable young people and families. Our staff work with both victims and perpetrators of serious youth violence, exploitation and gang related offences. We help our clients to be safe, move away from offending and take positive choices.
We do this by:
- Helping our clients understand their own behaviour and its consequences
- Promoting change
- Working with other support services, including enforcement
- Providing practical help such as housing support
- Helping our clients families to support them
The best results come from partnership working, so staff work closely with a range of agencies to get the best outcomes for their clients. Our aim is to see our clients using mainstream community based services to get what they need- SOS should be a bridging service that helps people to access that support and services.
We are keen to hear from you NOW if you have the skills and attitude to work as an SOS Caseworker / Senior Caseworker / Family Caseworker for this leading project. You will need to have lived and personal experience to be able to support young families.
