District New Volunteers Lead

 

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

The District New Volunteers’ Officers role is to support the co-ordination of the recruitment, and induction of front-line volunteers across the London South District - SW Sector, on behalf of the District Manager. This involves assisting in coordinating the selection of applicants, their induction to SJA and their training for role in direct partnership with internal stakeholders, to recruit and essentially, retain new volunteers.

The role will include reviewing new volunteers during their first year to ensure we are successful in our on-boarding process. The successful candidate would be required to attendance at combined Selection / Welcome events held five or six times per year at our Croydon HQ.

Closing date for this post is Tuesday 31st March 2020 interviews will be held at our Croydon HQ.
