As Head of Property at St John Ambulance, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the St John Estate, its related resources and facilities to ensure they are in line with strategic objectives. You will provide strategic leadership and effective management of the build estate and hard & soft facilities management through a combination of both in-house and outsourced resources.

You will provide strategic leadership and effective management of the built estate and hard & soft facilities management through a combination of both in-house and outsourced resources.
The successful candidate will provide expertise to support the development and delivery of the Estates Strategy across the organisation and be the principle advisor on all land, property, estates and facilities matters to the Executive Board through the Chief Executive Officer. You will lead the organisation through a radical strategic review of the whole Estate portfolio and deliver key strategic changes across core areas of the built estate.
The Head of Property will ensure through an effective strategy, policies and procedures, that the estate is financially efficient, legally compliant and environmentally sustainable.

To be successful in the role of Head of Property you should have broad commercial previous experience of working in a similar position sand successfully managing a complex property estates and facilities portfolio, with associated staff, outsourced contracts and budgets. You will have considerable detailed experience of delivering strategic and practical changes across a large Estate portfolio and significant experience of influencing key stakeholders and demonstrating value for money across all transactions.
The Head of Property must possess a wide set of technical qualifications as well as detailed understanding of all relevant Property legislation and have a minimum of 10 years track record in a leadership position.
This role will be fast paced, dynamic and intellectually challenging. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the commerciality required to lead, influence and shape strategy across a broad property portfolio that creates considerable opportunity for both value creation and career development.
