Job Description

As Insight Lead, you will lead the identification and prioritisation of focus areas for insight in alignment with strategic priorities, carry out analytical and research work to support the needs of St John and drive culture change around the use of evidence, throughout the organisation.

About the Role

Our Insight and Impact team lead the development and delivery of research, insight and evaluation enabling St John to make strategic, evidence based decisions and maximise our impact. They are responsible for developing St John’s understanding of our key audiences, their needs,  and how well we are addressing them.

Joining us in this newly created and critical role, you will work closely with the Head of Insight and Impact to lead on supporting and enabling the development and use of insight to inform strategic and operational decision making. Using your expertise in primary research, secondary analysis and synthesis of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research and data, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to lead on the design and delivery of actionable insight which enhances St John’s understanding of its key audiences and the context in which we interact with them.

About You

To be successful in the role as Insight Lead, you will ideally have third/charity sector experience and be passionate about providing organisational insight. You will be experienced in designing, delivering and managing qualitative and quantitative research to understand audiences and context and will have worked with senior stakeholders to apply insight to decision making.
