About the Role
As the National Challenge Events Manager at St John Ambulance, you will be responsible for developing and managing the Challenge Events team and programme in order to maintain and increase income across the portfolio. The main aim of the role is to deliver growth across our challenge events activity as part of our current five-year fundraising strategy and to be the organisation lead for challenge events.
A key responsibility in this role will be to identify and deliver new income streams and mass participation events using marketing skills across a range of media channels. You will work closely with other key stakeholders and teams to deliver integrated campaigns across St John Ambulance.

As the National Challenge Events Manager, you should bring a wealth of experience of leading a successful charity fundraising events team and achieving income growth on challenge events. You will have previous experience of using a range of media channels and have hands on knowledge of using fundraising databases like Raiser’s Edge.
