Job description

As Policy & Information Officer at St John Ambulance, you will support our work on internal policy and information governance across the organisation. You will help to develop and maintain a suite of policies to support compliance and continuous improvement. You will help St John people to understand the requirements of our policy and information governance frameworks, and contribute to training and monitoring effectiveness.

 

About the Role

As Policy & Information Officer at St John Ambulance, you will support our work on internal policy and information governance across the organisation. You will help St John people to understand the requirements of our policy and information governance frameworks, and contribute to training and monitoring effectiveness. You will handle Subject Access Requests received under data protection legislation and co-ordinate requests for data protection advice.

About You

To be successful in the role of Policy & Information Officer, you should have a good understanding of policy and information governance frameworks and a willingness to develop your skills in these areas. You will be a good communicator who is able to understand complex information and develop effective materials to convey this to your colleagues. You will be well organised and be able to work on your own initiative. You must be comfortable analysing information and producing status reports, and monitoring compliance against quality standards.
