No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
St John Ambulance provides support to external groups and the wider community which means that during periods of severe weather or in the event of a major incident, it implements its emergency plans to provide transport, first aid and care skills in support of NHS Trusts, Local Resilience Forums and communities.
Regional Emergeny Prepareness,Resiliance and Response (EPRR) teams are responsible for planning and delivering EPRR training and exercises, to ensure our people in the region are able to respond when the time comes.
Successful applicants will support the Regional EPRR team with one of the most exciting and challenging roles within St John Ambulance. Team members will be provided with opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge by attending meetings, exercises, training sessions, etc, with multi-agency partners both at weekends and sometimes during the working week.
The East region serves communities in Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. There are a number of positions available.
Closing date for this post is Saturday 29th February 2020 and interviews will be held Friday 13th March and Saturday 14th March 2020
