St John Ambulance is the charity that steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and support communities. Each year, across the country, our Student Volunteering programme sees thousands of university students learn essential first aid skills, many hundreds of volunteering opportunities in a wide range of roles, and a full calendar of fundraising, development and social activities.

The Student Volunteering Team is looking to appoint a Regional Student Volunteering Lead to oversee and advise on Student Volunteering activity in the London & South region. This voluntary role will work closely with regional and national colleagues to support and raise the profile of Student Volunteering. They will also line manage a small team of Regional Student Volunteering Officers and District Student Volunteering Leads.

Involved in this role is the expectation to attend Student Volunteering Team leadership meetings, quarterly National Student Volunteering Team meetings, and ensure a Student Volunteering presence at Regional Leadership Team meetings bi-annually.

Experience and interest in both the university volunteering environment is important for this role. While this opportunity is specifically focused on the London & South region, it can be successfully performed remotely so we would welcome applicants from any area of the country.
