Job Description

As Volunteering Development Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and realisation of our strategy to develop new ways to remain at the forefront of volunteer provision in the health sector for 10,000 adults across England.

About the Role

At the heart of St John Ambulance are volunteers and young people making sure St John People are engaged at the heart of their community. As Volunteering Development Manager (Adults), you will be responsible for the delivery and realisation of our strategy to develop new ways to remain at the forefront of volunteer provision in the health sector for 10,000 adults across England.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will manage a team of Programme Managers, Leads and Development Officers to research and trial new ways of working, build capacity to deliver projects and support the delivery and evaluation of new programmes.

About You

To be successful in the role of Volunteering Development Manager, you should have a strong background of working with Adult Volunteering. You will have experience work impactful programme management and have experience of building and delivering engaging, rewarding programmes across a large geographical area with multiple stakeholders.
