Job Description

We need two youth workers who are: self-motivated, passionate about young people and Christian faith, able to bring faith alive through one-to-one work, small groups, and fun activities (e.g. drama, sport, the arts, technology).
We can provide: a diverse, urban context for a very hands on, down to earth ministry; two fledging youth groups; pastoral support and a committed church team. Work will begin with our Sunday morning church youth groups and develop to include mentoring, youth events, outreach etc during the week. We have been accepted by St Mellitus college as a suitable placement context for anyone training on their Youth Work and Theology Degree

Salary: £19,200 – £22,200 pro rata (accommodation available)
Hours: 15 hours a week including Sunday mornings
Would suit a trainee youth worker based at St Mellitus College or a trained youth worker. Applications from BAME candidates are particularly welcome.There is an occupational requirement for applicants to be Christian.
