Responsible for the strategy, operational delivery, performance and governance of the Academic Institute with a particular focus on the education programme.
To work with the CEO of the Foundation and the Dean of Academic Institute to devise and implement the education strategy.
Oversee the Academic Institute’s portfolio of educational activities and carry designated responsibility for sign off in the absence of the CEO and/or the Dean.
Support on a number of change and clinical integration projects across London North West University Healthcare Trust, St Mark’s Hospital and St Mark’s Hospital Foundation.
Support the CEO of St Mark’s Hospital Foundation and Dean of St Mark’s Hospital to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high quality client centred educational services, strategic planning and change programmes, driving innovation, modernisation and high levels of client and staff satisfaction.
Responsible for the delivery of the Academic Institute’s finances, quality performance, productivity and workforce targets, as agreed through the business planning and appraisal and personal development process.
Lead the development and delivery of the Academic Institute’s business plan to ensure continuous service improvement, quality and financial efficiency. Lead on specific cross department projects as required.
Responsible for the management of staff, including recruitment, appraisal, development and support of a small team delivering the education programme.
Lead on engagement with internal and external stakeholders and building collaborative relationships to improve communications and assure delivery of the business plan and strategic objectives.
Responsible for the Academic Institute’s communications strategy and promotion of the educational programme.
