If you are an optimistic, solution-focused admin assistant with a ‘can do’ attitude who is looking to develop your career, we have an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role providing a range of efficient administrative services to our Services Central Management Team (SCMT) which consists of the Regional Directors, Regional Heads and Service Development Managers.
As an Admin Assistant, you will report to the Leadership Team Administration Manager to set up and maintain effective administrative processes and support our CSLT including minute taking at meetings.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, well-organised person for this Admin Assistant role. You will enjoy dealing directly with the public or customers in a busy service environment. To succeed, you will have the ability to work as part of a team and to initiate and maintain highly positive and effective working relationships with others. You will also have strong IT/typing skills, good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, good written skills and excellent attention to detail. Other requirements are the ability to handle responsibility and manage your time and work to multi-task and deliver against agreed deadlines.
We seek to develop fast, self-motivated learners with transferable competencies and skills rather than expecting you to have necessarily worked in the same kind of role or organisation before.
In return, we offer a range of benefits including a 6% pension contribution and generous and very popular flexi-time scheme enabling you to balance your work and home life and accrue additional days off work to supplement your 25 days annual holiday (rising to 28 after years).
We also offer a genuinely great place to work. People describe our office space as “amazing”. You will receive supportive and empowering line management, with access to a wide range of opportunities to learn and to develop your skills and career.
If you believe that you have what we are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of people who are homeless, we would love you to apply.
