About the role

 

We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Support (Duty) Worker to join our Haringey Complex Needs Service.

 

The service provide housing and support for our clients who have mental health needs, substance use, dual diagnosis, physical health and other support needs. We provide a therapeutic environment that considers the client's strengths, aspirations and interests and puts these at the centre of their recovery.

 

About you:

 

As the post-holder, you will be working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners and will be responsible for supporting the working shift pattern of the service, whilst holding a case load of clients. You will be enthusiastic, creative, eager to learn and able engage with our clients in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.

 

This is a fantastic, entry-level role for an individual looking to develop a career in the sector. There are minimal requirements for direct experience provided you can demonstrate the transferable skills required for the role. We have a number of current managers who started their career as Duty Workers.
