We have an exciting opportunity for an Outreach Worker to join our small team in Brent, working closely with our clients supporting them to move away from the streets into accommodation or reconnection services.
About the role
In this role you will have the privilege of finding, assessing and supporting individuals to end their rough sleeping.
Practically this will mean working within a small team, building fast and strong working relationships with clients and external partners.
You will be completing a range of shifts including working late at night, early in the morning and case management shifts during office hours, all whilst enduring the great British weather.
You will maintain a caseload of clients, offering them assertive, consistent ongoing guidance & support until they are in a position to be able to move from the street into accommodation or reconnection services and/or other appropriate support services.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic individual who has a clear understanding of professional boundaries. Ideally you will have experience of promptly assessing, planning and completing actions with Homeless and/or vulnerable adults, in very complex situations.
To succeed in this role you will need the capacity to work under pressure, work independently and remain enthusiastic and motivated in a demanding and results driven role.

Pay and Other Benefits
St Mungo’s is proud to pay client facing staff above average for the sector. We run a cycle to work scheme and also offer season tickets loans to all staff.
St Mungo’s contribute 4% of your gross annual salary, and you are able to enrol in the Defined Contribution scheme following a successful probationary period in which the employer contribution is 6%.
