If you are a personable, confident and client focused Resourcing/Recruitment professional or have relevant, transferable recruitment experience, this is an exciting opportunity to genuinely make a difference, helping St Mungo’s to meet our growing talent needs and supporting work that really changes and rebuilds lives.
In this busy and varied role, you will work with managers across London and the South East, providing an efficient and effective recruitment service for permanent, casual, temporary or self-employed workers.
Working from our head office in London, you will:
- Build effective working relationships with local managers, candidates and recruitment partners
- Advise on recruitment policy, processes and best practice recruitment
- Deliver regular training sessions related to recruitment and selection
- Develop recruitment marketing materials, advertising and social media campaigns
You will line manage up to 2 Recruitment Administrators ensuring that the pre-employment checking and on-boarding for new starters is progressed quickly, and that any delays or issues are quickly resolved in partnership with the hiring manager.
You will be based from our offices in London, with regular travel travel to other locations across England as required.
You may have worked directly in an HR or Resourcing team before, but we also welcome applications from those with relevant transferable experience; for example, recruitment experience in relation to volunteers, temporary staff or perhaps from recruiting staff to a team you have managed.
If you are able to build effective relationships quickly, understand great customer service and can work with colleagues to solve problems and are assertive enough to be in a standalone role we would be delighted to hear from you.

St Mungo’s contribute 4% of your gross annual salary, and you are able to enrol in the Defined Contribution scheme following a successful probationary period in which the employer contribution is 6%.
