About the role

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic leader to take on the role of Service Development Manager in the East Region, Resettlement and Move-on.  

 

We are looking for someone who is able to provide expertise across the East Region and the wider Organisation in delivering specialist services and advice to people sleeping rough in London.

 

 

Key responsibilities in this role are:

 

  • To develop new business and retendering opportunities.
  • To work with the Director and Business Development Team on developing and growing our portfolio of services to establish and implement new contracts.
  • To be directly responsible for the successful implementation and start-up of new teams and services.
  • To support Service Managers in delivering best practice across their services.
  • Support the development and implement processes, initiatives, policies and procedures, and services that promote the key ambitions and approaches of the organisation.
  • You will also be required to provide flexible management support across the region in response to service needs.

 

 

About you

 

 

This role will suit a creative thinker who has the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality services. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to manage an agile workload in areas relating to service design, implementation, development and project management; and experience of leading a team or teams delivering services to groups of vulnerable clients in an outreach, assessment centre or other relevant environment.
